THE BOWMAN FAMILY

After serving on a number of short-terms teams with Sparrow Missions, Eric, Roxanne and their two
daughters accepted the call and moved to Santiago, Honduras in June of 2014 to be the directors of the
Sparrow Village. They were quickly blessed with four newborn foster children that still live with the
Bowman’s today. Ana, Mimi and Mateo joined their family through adoption in March of 2022.
Currently, they are advocating for the privilege to adopt their foster daughter, Y.

In early 2019, the Bowman’s felt God calling them to a new chapter in their service for God in Honduras
and their family joined the Sparrow team in San Pedro Sula. Eric currently does electrical and roofing
work for new and existing Sparrow buildings, visits the asilo (a nursing home), and gives piano lessons at
the Sparrow Academy. Roxanne serves in Mami y Yo, a bible class for moms and their preschoolers, and
uses her skills as a nurse practitioner to serve alongside Sparrow medical teams.
