Thank You!

Thank You!

“Are not five sparrows sold for two cents yet not ONE is forgotten by GOD” Luke 12:6.

On behalf of our long-term missionaries, local Honduran staff, and short-term team members, I would like to personally say “Thank You” for your incredible support and commitment to those who are called by God to serve.  Your support has enabled our organization to serve in powerful ways and provide discipleship, education, and training to those who have largely been forgotten by our world.

As a supporter to Sparrow, you played an amazing role in 2015. This year, we saw hundreds of short-term missionaries travel to San Pedro Sula, Honduras and Santiago, Honduras to pour life and love into each of our long-term projects. God used each of these missionaries.  Our Children’s Home in Santiago is caring for four beautiful babies, who would otherwise be living in an institution. Without you these children would not be living in a family environment.  Men in the Ministerio Vida rehabilitation center continued to learn the trade of carpentry and are building new items daily because of the support that came from you.  They have been given a new outlook on life as a result of seeing someone believe in them. The families in the bordos community of San Pedro Sula are growing stronger by the minute and we are watching disciples being made before our eyes.  Thanks to your support, we have expanded discipleship programs, taught the trade of sewing, and educated children in ways that they never believed were possible.  God has done so many amazing things.  He has used you and your donations, which we pray He transforms into eternal rewards for His kingdom.

A new year is here and God continues to lead us.  The Sparrow Academy is ready to open February 1st and children from the bordos community, who once believed that they would never go to school, will now receive an amazing Christian education.  And just this past week we opened our second house on the Children’s Home property, providing a home for three siblings that likely would have been seperated from each other! We can’t wait to see what else God has planned!

There is so much work to be done.  We are in this together.  Our prayer is that we can continue to make a difference in the Kingdom of Heaven in the future.  Thank you once again for your support and please continue to pray for our ministry!

God Bless, Justin Ross
