After starting their family in 2017, staying close to home and near family seemed like the obvious choice for Brian and Diana. However, God had other plans. In 2021, while expecting their third child, they relocated to metro Atlanta where they planned to find their “forever home” and settle down.

A year and a half later, God began to stir unexpected desires in their hearts to serve in overseas missions and partner in the work He is doing at Union Church in Lima. Through prayer and a season of discernment, it became clear that God was calling them to go.

Brian and Diana will serve with the Sparrow Team at Union Church, working to see a Gospel-centered, multiplying church rooted in the City. While they prepare their family to join the team in Lima, Brian continues to receive pastoral mentorship and is set to graduate with a Bachelors in Theology in the Summer of 2025.
