Chris and Alishia Weeks joined the Sparrow Missions family in 2014 after several years of short-term trips. After serving in many roles throughout Santiago and San Pedro, Alishia now directs the “Sponsor a Sparrow” program, connecting Sparrows with their sponsors, and leads several women’s and girls’ discipleship groups each week, empowering young ladies to disciple others.

Chris serves as Projects Manager, overseeing construction and maintenance in San Pedro, teaches Bible classes to high school students, and is the Educational Systems Advisor at Sparrow Academy. He also directs the internship program, guiding former Sparrow Academy students into the next stages of life, and serves families in Rancho Bonito and missionaries across Honduras as a Marriage and Family Therapist. Since 2022, Chris has been the preaching elder at Kainos Christian Church, a church plant serving the Rancho Bonito community and meeting at Sparrow Academy every Sunday.

Chris and Alishia serve alongside their four sons: Brayan, Andy, Micah, and Luca.
