After 11 years of ministry in Honduras, the Ross family now serves the unreached in Chiang Rai, Thailand, dedicated to bringing the Gospel to a northern village. Ashley supports missionary and Thai students as an academic counselor at an international Christian school, while J.J. continues to lead Sparrow Missions as Executive Director, guiding its global vision and impact.
They serve alongside their three children: Aaron, Gracie, and Abi.
John and Abi are passionate about helping people know Jesus and have spent their 17 years of marriage serving, traveling, and raising their three children—Emma, Grace, and Micah. Their journey includes church planting, global ministry, and a lifetime shaped by cross-cultural experiences. In 2023, God led their family to Lima, Peru, where they now serve with Sparrow as they follow His calling into a new season of ministry.
Since 2014, Chris and Alishia Weeks have called San Pedro Sula, Honduras, home. Serving alongside their four boys—Brayan, Andy, Micah, and Luca—they pour into the Rancho Bonito community and Sparrow Academy through discipleship, education, pastoral care, and community development, always pointing others to the hope of the Gospel.
Jacob and Rebeca Glover have been faithfully serving Iglesia Sublime Gracia in Villanueva, Honduras, since 2019. Through teaching, discipleship, outreach, and leadership development, they have helped plant and grow the church, bringing hope, transformation, and the life-changing message of the Gospel to their community.
Pastor Ake and Pai serve in the Hmong community of Rong San, where they lead local ministry, disciple families, teach children and youth, and invest deeply in relationships throughout the village. Alongside their two daughters, they are building a Christ-centered presence through Bible teaching, worship, English classes, and community outreach. Their heart is to see their village know Jesus and grow in His love.
The Salviano family, Maron, Juliana, and their daughter Ana Mel, serve in Thailand, using education and sports to share the Gospel and invest in the next generation. Maron works with youth through soccer coaching, building relationships and teaching values, while Juliana serves as a full-time volunteer teacher, pouring into elementary students each day. Together, they are a family on mission, devoted to making God’s love known.
Brian and Diana are now serving with the Sparrow Team at Union Church in Lima, helping to strengthen a Gospel-centered, multiplying church in the city. As they settle their family into this new season, Brian continues his pastoral training and is on track to graduate with a Bachelors in Theology in Summer 2025. Their heart is to serve faithfully and join God’s work in Lima.
Daniel Lavori serves as a missionary at Union Church of Lima, where he leads worship, preaches regularly, supports community partnerships, and provides counseling. He is passionate about serving the church and the surrounding community in meaningful, practical ways.
From serving in Honduras to now serving in Northern Thailand, Margie walks and serves alongside the Hmong community with Pastor Ake and Phii Pai through discipleship, relationships, and local ministry support. She invests in kids and youth, strengthens community programs, and partners with the local church to share God’s love
